Fourth Peethadhish
P. P. Swami Shri Krishnanandnath Maharaj
(1629 – 1682)
Born in 1629 in Savde, Khandesh, Maharashtra, Shri Krishnanandnath Maharaj was a divine blessing to his parents, who had prayed fervently to Lord Dattatreya. It is believed that the Lord granted them a divine fruit as a blessing, foretelling that their child would be an incarnation of Shri Narayan, destined to uplift dharma on earth.
At the age of 25, in 1654, Lord Dattatreya instructed him through a divine vision of Narada Muni, who reminded him of his purpose and guided him toward his spiritual mission. Through his unwavering devotion to his Guru, he became a beacon of light, leading society toward righteousness.
At the age of 53, in 1682, he took samadhi, having completed his divine mission on earth.
