Born in 1968 on Vaman Dwadashi in Amravati, Swami Jitendranath belongs to the Lomte family. His family held deep spiritual roots, performing daily recitations of Dnyaneshwari and hosting the sacred Mouli Samadhi Sanjeevan Festival. His birth was considered an incarnation of Lord Vishnu in the form of Vamana.
Academic Excellence & Social Leadership
He pursued a distinguished education, earning B.Sc., M.Pharm, and M.Lib degrees with gold medals. He later became the Principal of Sir C.V. Raman Postgraduate College.
Alongside his academic journey, he was an active leader in organizations like Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, and Bajrang Dal, contributing significantly to national and cultural causes.
During a spiritual retreat at Riddhapur, he had a divine vision of Lord Dattatreya, who guided him toward his spiritual mission.
In 2001, he was formally initiated as the Peethadheesh of Shri Devnath Math.
His Contributions to Shri Nath Tradition
Under his leadership, the restoration and expansion of multiple Nath monasteries and temples have been carried out across India and abroad. He has strengthened traditional practices, village festivals, and Nath pilgrimage centers, while also establishing branches of Shri Nath Sakha Sadhak Vrinda internationally.
A significant milestone was the Virat Dharma Sanskriti Mahakumbh (2012 & 2016), which brought together India's greatest saints, spiritual leaders, and scholars.

Vishwamangal Student Sabha – A forum for young girls’ education and self-development
Today, his vision has spread across 15 major countries, extending the legacy of Shri Nath tradition worldwide.
